FAQ'S

When & where do boudoir sessions take place?: Boudoir sessions are scheduled Tuesday thru Thursday with a 9am start time & take place in our residential Oakland Hills studio.
Are hair and make-up included?: Yes. My talented make-up artist, Diana, is a licensed esthetician and has worked with all different skin types & hair textures. Your day begins with hair and make-up lasting about 90 minutes.
I've never done this before and I'm really awkward in front of a camera.: Most of my clients have never done a boudoir session before. You don't need to have any experience or know how to pose. It's my job to guide you during your session and help you feel comfortable, and I have lots of experience doing just that! I'll show you exactly what to do: how to pose from your hands to your toes, where to look & even when to smile.
I don't own lingerie and I'm not sure what to wear. Do you provide lingerie?: We have an extensive Client Closet in the studio with over 250 pieces. Our Collection includes: lingerie in many sizes (from XS-5X), heels, robes, body jewelry, sheer scarves, and couture wings. We'll photograph 4-5 different looks. Check out some of what we have in our lingerie closet! However, boudoir photography is not limited to lingerie. You can wear a sexy dress, cozy sweater, fur jacket or we can do implied nudes. Your outfits should be authentic to who you are!
Will my photos be shown on your website or social media?: No. Your privacy is very important and the women you see on my site have given me written permission to share their images. After you have seen your photos, you decide which ones (if any) you are comfortable sharing. We never use your name and we do not tag you when we post on social media.
Do you retouch my photos?: Yes. Before you come in for your Ordering Appointment, I'll fully edit 60+ of your best photos. While I do basic skin softening, I do not remove or alter permanent parts of your body (scars, moles, freckles or your body shape). If there is something you'd like me to edit, please let me know during your photo session.
How far in advance do I need to book to get products back by a certain date?: We are typically booked out 6-8 weeks in advance, but I do my best to squeeze in last minute sessions. We recommend scheduling your session 6+ weeks before you need your finished products.
How much does this cost & what payment forms do you accept?: Our luxury boudoir session fee is $395 and includes everything that happens before and on the day of your photo session. Products are purchased separately at your ordering appointment, and Fine Art Collections include albums, prints, wall art, paintings and/or digital files. We do offer flexible, no-interest payment plans set up in-house. Print pricing starts at $150/image, album pricing starts at $900 and Fine Art Collections start at $1,795.
