“I came in for my boudoir session before my wedding, and it was on my list of things to do. I was worried I was going to look really fat or see myself from weird angles that weren’t flattering. I had done photo shoots before in China with very heavy makeup, so I was a bit worried about seeing myself the way I really look. A boudoir shoot is a good way to reframe how you see yourself. Once you see the photos you realize you are a normal looking person and not a huge person. As a teen I grew up seeing photos in magazines of women who were so skinny. No one looked like me. That’s finally starting to change and it’s great to be part of that.” ~ Mrs. Q
