Ms. N had been thinking about doing a boudoir session for months before she contacted me. Here's what she said:

“I’ve always wanted to do a session for years. Last year, I looked for photographers and found Niki on IG & FB. I watched what she posted for months. In June, I got out of a long relationship and was turning 32. I decided, why not now? I’ve always had body image issues and been uncomfortable in my skin. All the photos that I’ve seen over the years were all beautiful, no matter what the woman looked like. I was drawn in after reading all the testimonials about people saying how much confidence the session gave them. I’m 32 years old now, and you’ve gotta love your body at some point!”

“Before I came in I was definitely nervous because I didn’t know what to expect, and I’m not a huge fan of taking pictures. I was worried about how I would look in the photos. I was also kinda excited. The photo shoot was lots of fun. All my nervousness went away.”

“As soon as I saw my photos on the computer my nervousness went away. I felt like I wasn’t looking at myself, it felt like I was looking at a different person. It became really clear to me looking at the photos that how I pictured myself  previously is not the way others see me. It showed me that the distorted view of myself is not what I look like.” 

“I love my album. I’m excited to be able to look at it whenever I want. If I had a friend thinking of doing a boudoir session I would tell her, “Oh, go do it. Don’t even hesitate, just do it!”
