I'm so excited to share these stunning boudoir photos from my recent session with Ms. S. in my Oakland studio. She has so much positive energy, and I am grateful to have collaborated with her. I'm also honored to share a bit of her story here: 

Niki: Why did you want to do a boudoir session at this point in your life?

"I'm going through a life transition and doing a lot of self discovery. I wanted to do something to feel and show myself my own beauty inside and out."

Niki: What are three words to that you'd use to describe the images we created:

"Soulful, Sensual, Beauty,& Confidence....wait that's 4!"

Niki: How did you feel the day of your session:

"I was a little bit nervous before the session but really excited beforehand. When I did the shoot, it became very empowering and very sexy. I was in my own little space, and I felt very confident in a safe, fun, playful space."

Niki: What would you tell your friends about doing a photo session with Her Story Boudoir?

"When I tell my friends about the session, I tell them that they have to do it, because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity! It makes you feel so good and so proud about being you and being a strong, empowered female in this world. It really brings out all those positive traits. And of course, the most important thing is being able to capture the beauty and being able to look at it and remind yourself. It's a reminder because in the daily grind, we forget."
