What was your motivation for doing a boudoir photo session with Her Story Images?

“When I was picking a  boudoir photographer I didn’t like that most of the photographers were overtly sexualizing the women, and the women didn’t look empowered. When I found Niki’s photos, what I liked about them was that the women looked extremely empowered. That was how I wanted to look: strong and empowered. I felt like she did a good job capturing that.

How did you feel before your boudoir photo session?

“I wasn’t nervous because I had seen your photos, but I was thinking that maybe my outfits wouldn’t look good in the photos or that I wouldn’t be photogenic...so maybe I was a little bit nervous!”

How did you feel when you saw your boudoir photographs for the first time? 

“I felt amazing and empowered and beautiful...I couldn’t believe that the pictures are of me. They are all so beautiful!”

Do you have any advice for women considering a boudoir photo session with Her Story Images?

“I think you should absolutely do it. Especially if you have been working on being the best version of yourself, like I have. You should do it as a way to capture a moment in your history that will make you feel beautiful. I think anyone should do it...It’s a great way to feel empowered.”
